All I want for Chirstmas is my…

December 22, 2006

is my… my what? Last year I got myself my two front teeth. It was then that I also scored the Nano and the digital camera that I had wanted so badly. (So Bug, have you rued the day you gave it to me yet? Mwahahaha.) So what’s my wish for this year? Hmmm… I always like getting running gear. But I am sad because my orthopedist just put me on a 6-week running hiatus. I cannot run until Jan. 30! Apparently a tear in your calf muscle won’t heal with even irregular bouts of running. Bah. Do you realize how out of shape I am going to be come February? This practically rules out running the National Half-Marathon in March. Double gah. Anyway, moving on…there are lots of things that I like and would be excited about receiving. I just don’t have that one item (or items) that I am almost desperate to get this year. I take that back, I’ve asked my family to take a photo that I snapped in India and have it matted and framed for me. It’s about time I get some damn artwork on my walls. I’ve been in my condo for almost three years for crissakes. So I want that. Badly. And I have a feeling that because I want it so, my family won’t get it for me. That’s just the way things go, you know? But I am content. I feel good about life. So let’s keep that up, ok? Some peace on Earth and goodwill to man wouldn’t hurt either. See, I am not nearly as devilish as my caricature for my company’s holiday card would suggest. I swear. All that being said, Santa you better be good to me! Because while I don’t really want for anything right now, I do love a good present. Merry Christmas everyone! And Happy Hanukah to all the Jews. Kisses. Oh and did I mention that it’s a three-day weekend for me? Use-or-lose vacation days baby. Have to take it, we can’t have vaction days going to waste now can we? So I’ll spend tomorrow sleeping in, hitting up some Bikram yoga, baking cookies, wrapping gifts and ice skating! Yay! Ice skating. What a fantabulous way to kick off the winter solstice, don’t you think?

I’m definitely not getting you something sportsy.

I’m thinking of getting you a Mariah Carey Christmas Album to be honest.

I rue nothing (but the fact that I updated my blog to beta) because I am in none of those photos.

This year I will get you a monkey, because everyone wants a monkey

I’m a year behind you, I just got my Nano. Is my behavior normal, where I’m staying up until 3:00 a.m. making playlists and loading my C.D.’s into the online store? Please tell me this is normal, I haven’t seen my wife since Early yesterday.
