XL haiku

February 6, 2006

Craptastic XL!
Suck-ass officiating
Someone’s on the take
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Souls rolled in their graves
Oh! Holmgren’s poor clock control
Lombardi shuns him
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey, you official!
Can’t clip the ball carrier
Go read the rule book
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gridiron follies,
Gone! Gone until summertime
Sundays are so sad
    Pass interference?
    That stuff happens on each play
    Pittsburgh whines for calls
    I’ll see your haiku and raise you a limerick;
    There was a young girl from St. Paul
    Who whined about every call
    The season’s departed
    Mile Holmgren’s retarded
    So please let it go until fall.
    I completely agree with i-66 on that one…although all my “squealer fan” friends don’t! GO SEAHAWKS next year!
    “WHUPS!”
    Jerramy Stevens
    Can’t catch a damn thing.
    Definitely not the game that I expected to see. I was happy with the outcome, but not with the way that it took to get there… except for the reverse pass!
    Love the haikus! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
