Favre who?

November 21, 2005

I know no one else probably cares (except for Travis), but tonight is the *cough* much-anticipated *cough* Monday night meeting between the Vikings and the Packers. Woo! I don’t care if both teams are sucking suck this year. We’ve got Brad Johnson now! He’s my new best-friend. And I always love to watch the Pack suck, especially when it’s Minnesota delivering them to suckinessland. But it is Monday night, and it is Favre and they are barely favored which are all good signs for Brett to come out with a that amazing, beyond-all-odds thing he does. He hasn’t had it yet this year, which causes me worry. So maybe Madden will jinx him by rubbing his Favre-loving-man-self off on him pre-game or something. Or maybe Madden will be distracted by constructing his 863-legged turkey for Thursday*, thus throwing Favre off (or keeping him on the sucky train).
Go Vikes!

*Ok, you KNOW that the Turduken is still in existence somewhere. I mean, it’s got to be. Madden may not be able to award it for stellar-performance in the Thanksgiving Day game since leaving FOX, but I just feel in my heart of hearts that it’s out there. And Madden is there bestowing legs of meat upon people who are “manly” ,”Boom! tastic” and “stronger than those weak losers”, shunning the “wimpy” and the “weak” for another year.

I almost had to call you back, because the Pack scored right after we hung up. But damn, what a great 2nd half, ya?

How sweet was THAT?! Watching Green Bay burn all their timeouts at the end to try to stop the inevitable was icing on the cake.

    Mmmmm… cake…

    Mewelde for President!!!

Brad Johnson can be his running mate! Woooooooooooo! I just knew he was gonna be my best friend! Buuuut, MN needs to get him some protection. 5 sacks? The man is quite injury-prone, that much pressure is not acceptable.

actual thing I said last night: “Who’s backing up Brad Johnson? He’s getting his ass kicked right now”

It bothers me greatly that the sorry Vikings, with their sex parties, lousy coach, and QB that was cast away from OUR team, has the same record we do.

    DAMMIT! Congratulations though.
